No Top Gear.
No Superbowl.
I may actually....have to work today.

This is exactly how I look like a half hour after my morning cup of black coffee.
Hint: I would be sitting on something.

Have you tried going through a proxy site?

No joy, our IT crew have now started filtering everything and have a white list.

Bummer. Do you know what they are using for a web filter? That's pretty crazy if they are juts white listing stuff.
If you have install rights and really want to go nuts, Tor is always an option, but as an IT tech myself, I'd question it if i found it on a computer haha

I did contemplate putting Tor on the PC but it breaks our IT policy, and could get me fired.
It's really random what sites are white listed. Like, Oppo and all of the Gawker network is accessible, but Kotaku AU isn't.

our IT guys started doing this too, only because
someone
was watching full length HD movies all the time and hogging all the bandwidth.
(turns out someone from the office next door had figured out our stupidly easy wireless password.. seriously it was our company name with @ instead of "a" and 7 instead of T)
